(10/10/2018) Good Wednesday morning! It’s a rainy and gloomy start to the day as rain continues to pass through the ArkLaMiss. Since yesterday afternoon, rainfall totals have been up to 2 1/2″ for parts of the area. Be careful on the commute this morning, dense fog has developed behind the rain so the commute will be nasty. You’ll likely either be dealing with rain, puddled roads, or fog! Drive slow and use the headlights.
We’re going to continue to see this front pass through during the morning and eventually clear out later this afternoon. Sun will peek out and temperatures will climb into the mid 80’s this afternoon. Once winds shift out of the northwest the cool, dry air will filter in.
Overnight lows are going to be dropping into the mid 50’s with clear skies and winds from the north. You can turn off the A/C and open up the windows!
Tomorrow is looking absolutely gorgeous. Highs will be in the mid 70’s with sunny skies and winds from the north. Humidity is going to be low and winds will be from the north. Our fall-like weather will continue through the rest of the week!
