We have some strong thunderstorms and showers pushing across the ArkLaMiss this morning, producing lots of lightning. None of these storms have produced any severe warnings, though. After these storms clear out, we could see some sunshine but not until another round of storms comes through later in the afternoon. Timing on the next line of storms looks to be early afternoon, as a similar set of storms that rolled through early morning. Our high temperature will be near 90 degrees.
Tonight, there may be some lingering showers, but we will mostly clear out and have partly cloudy skies with temperatures falling into the mid 70’s.
Tomorrow, rain chances are only at 10%, since a stray shower or two cannot be ruled out. Clouds should be clearing off making way for plenty of sunshine, and temperatures will be heating up to the mid 90’s. Heat will be the main factor, with heat indices around the region should easily reach the triple digits.
