(2/26/2019) Good Tuesday morning! It’s a cool and rainy start for folks south of I-20 this morning. We’ve got rain chances back in our forecast for the rest of the week along with mostly cloudy to overcast skies. Temperatures are going to be warming up near 60° this afternoon with winds from the east. Rain chances will be highest through central Louisiana today with the potential for a few isolated storms as well. Winds will be from the east.
Overnight we will continue to keep those low rain chances in the forecast as temperatures drop into the lower 50’s. Skies will stay cloudy with light winds from the southeast.
Tomorrow the skies will remain mostly cloudy to overcast through the afternoon with temperatures warming up into the upper 60’s and winds from the southeast. Rain chances will be low, but we will have the chance for some isolated showers throughout the afternoon. We will stay warming up through Thursday and Friday before a cold front passes through bringing much colder conditions by the first week of March.
