(4/23/2019) Good Tuesday morning! It’s another mild start outside with temperatures sitting in the upper 50’s and lower 60’s as you head out. Clouds have moved in overnight and we’ll see partly to mostly cloudy skies throughout the day with winds from the south. High temperatures will climb into the upper 70’s later today.
Overnight lows are going to fall back into the upper 50’s and lower 60’s with some clouds and light winds.
Tomorrow we will see increasing clouds, highs near 80°, and rain moving in late. We look to stay dry through most of the day until showers and storms enter our coverage area around midnight. The best chance for strong storms and an isolated severe storm will be along and south of I-20 in the area of marginal risk. It’ll be a low-end threat, but expect frequent thunder and lightning. Locally heavy rainfall is also expected, mainly for areas south of I-20.Areas south of I-20 will se around 1-2″ with lower amounts through southern Arkansas. Expect us to see a few lingering showers Thursday afternoon and clearing conditions by Thursday night.
We’ll clear out Friday with a sunny, warm weekend ahead!
