(9/27/2018) Good Thursday morning! It’s finally beginning to feel nice outside! After a cold front passed through yesterday we have cooler, drier air spilling in from north to south. Southern Arkansas is starting off very pleasant today with temperatures in the lower 60’s along with dew points in the 50’s. It’s still a little warm and muggy through central Louisiana, but the nicer air is making it’s way down. We have a pleasant day ahead, as we will still see mostly cloudy to overcast skies through the first half of the day along with some lingering showers. By late afternoon, skies are going to begin to clear out and temperatures will be staying in the mid to upper 70’s for the high with lower humidity, absolutely gorgeous. Winds are going to be from the north.
Overnight lows are going to fall down into the upper 50’s through southern Arkansas, Lower 60’s in NELA. With low humidity and clearing skies, it’s going to be nice and cool!
Tomorrow is looking nice, as well. High temperatures are still going to warm up into the low to mid 80’s, but with low humidity it’s going to be pleasant as we look at partly cloudy skies. We’re going to stay dry with winds from the northeast.
