(10/4/2018) Good Thursday morning! It’s a warm and humid start again as temperatures are sitting in the lower 70’s. Average is 57°, so we’re well above normal! It’s going to be another summerlike afternoon as high temperatures climb into the lower 90’s with heat index values in the upper 90’s. Winds are going to be from the southeast with plenty of sunshine and no chance for rain.
Overnight lows will only be dropping down into the lower 70’s again. It’s going to remain humid outside with calm winds and only a few passing clouds.
Tomorrow is looking identical to today. High temperatures will be hitting the lower 90’s again with winds from the south and no rain chances. We will continue to see plenty of sunshine.
Monroe’s last 90° day for the past 5 years
Even though temps have been well above so far this October, our “extended summer” is pretty typical. We’ve only hit 90° once in November (1971), so there is a light at the end of this tunnel!
