Weather Forecast- Thursday, May 17th

Good Thursday morning! It’s been a mild start to the day with passing showers and storms. We saw the rain pass through Monroe-WM around 4am and those storms have been pushing east towards the Mississippi River since. We’ve seen everything remain non-severe, but did see some impressive lightning. Now that the storms are clearing out of East Carroll and Madison Parish, we are going to see dry conditions for the next couple of hours.

We’re warming up into the upper 80’s and lower 90’s again this afternoon. Rain chances will remain at 20% for the rest of the day. Showers and thunderstorms will remain isolated and quick if you do see the rain. Skies are going to be partly cloudy with winds from the northwest.

Overnight lows will be falling into the upper 60’s again with the potential for a lingering shower or two after the sun goes down. Winds will be calm tonight.

Tomorrow is looking a lot like today’s forecast, high temperatures will be a bit warmer than today in the lower 90’s with a mix of sun and clouds and some spotty showers possible through the afternoon. Winds will be back from the southwest. We’re looking to dry out this weekend.
