Weather Forecast- Thursday, May 16th


(5/16/2019) Good Thursday morning! It’s a mild start to the day with temperatures sitting in the 60’s and 70’s as you head out of the house. Skies are clear and winds are light. We’re looking at another warm and sunny afternoon in the forecast. Highs will be in the upper 80’s this afternoon with only a few clouds and winds from the southwest. There will be no chance for rain.

Overnight lows will dip back into the mid 60’s tonight with clear skies and calm winds.

Our forecast remain similar for tomorrow high temperatures creeping up near 90°, a temperature we haven’t seen in Monroe since October 8th of last year! Skies will be mostly sunny again tomorrow with southerly winds and no chance for rain.

The chance for rain and some severe storms returns this weekend.Most of the ArkLaMiss is under a slight risk for strong to severe storms through Saturday evening and overnight into early Sunday morning. All modes of severe weather will be possible. The primary threat is off to our west in eastern Texas for areas under an enhanced risk.
