Clouds continue today as a center of low pressure continues to develop over the southern Great Plains and track eastward. This system will keep the clouds in play for the next several days as well as more substantial rain chances. Today, expect scattered showers and thunderstorms with the best coverage in the afternoon hours. Highs should reach the mid 80s.
Tonight, mostly cloudy skies are expected with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Lows should fall only to the lower 70s.
Tomorrow, showers and thunderstorms are likely through much of the day–still the best coverage in the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will only reach the lower 80s. Showers and thunderstorms will continue for Saturday and then we will start to dry out for Sunday. Monday through Wednesday should be sunny and dry with highs in the low 90s and slightly lower humidity.
