(7/26/2018) Good Thursday morning! It’s another pleasant start outside this morning with temperatures in the upper 60’s and lower 70’s and dew points in the 60’s. By late July standards, it doesn’t get much better than this. Persistent northeasterly winds has helped the cooler and drier air stick around for an extended period for late summer. It’s still going to be a hot one today- high temps will be in the upper 90’s with some spots likely hitting the triple digits today. Heat index values will barely be affected though, as humidity remains on the lower end this afternoon. Skies will be mostly sunny all day with variable winds and no chance for rain.
Overnight will be similar to what we felt this morning, lows in the lower 70’s when you wake up tomorrow but humidity will slowly begin its return to the ArkLaMiss tomorrow.
Tomorrow temperatures won’t be as hot, in the mid 90’s but those dew points will get back into the 70’s. Skies will be partly cloudy and I threw in some low rain chances as increasing moisture from the north could lead to some spotty showers, mainly north of I-20. Winds will be from the northeast.
