Good Monday morning! It’s been a busy start to the day with heavy downpours and strong thunderstorms that pushed through overnight, but we’re now clearing out and making way for sunny conditions back in the forecast by the afternoon. Showers and storms will continue to advance eastward across the Mississippi River as skies clear out and we stay dry for the remainder of the day. Skies will be sunny later today with high temperatures this afternoon climbing into the lower 60’s. Winds are going to be from the west, and gusty winds can be expected to last through the afternoon between 25-35 mph. A Lake Wind Advisory is in effect until 6pm.
Overnight lows will be dropping into the mid 30’s overnight. Skies will be clear with winds from the west and no rain chances in the forecast.
Tomorrow is going to be a pleasant and sunny day across the region. Highs will be in the upper 50’s with sunny skies and winds from the northwest. There will be no chance for rain for the remainder of the week until Friday.
