Weather Forecast- Monday, August 13th

(8/13/2018) Good Monday morning and happy first day of school! Be sure to use extra caution on the commute this morning with the kids out and buses back on the roads. There are areas of patchy to dense fog across the ArkLaMiss so use the headlights and drive slow. Saharan dust is returning as the sky will look hazy heading outside. High temps are climbing into the low to mid 90’s this afternoon with low rain chances. Spotty showers could pop up this afternoon through southern Arkansas and in areas closer to Shreveport.

Overnight lows are dropping back into the lower 70’s as  the bulk of the cloud cover clears out.

Tomorrow we will be seeing more sunshine and warming temperatures. Highs will be in the mid 90’s with mostly sunny skies and no chance for rain! Winds are going to be from the southwest.
