WEST MONROE, La. - (6/15/2018) Good Friday morning! It's a warm and humid morning with temps sitting in the low to mid 70's. Highs will be in the mid 90's this afternoon with mostly cloudy skies, and some isolated afternoon showers and storms. The rain coverage looks a little less compared to the past few days, so I've dropped the chances to about 20%. Winds will be from the southwest.
Overnight some lingering showers are possible with clouds and lows dropping into the low to mid 70's.
Tomorrow we will see scattered rain coverage throughout the afternoon with rain chances at around 30% today. Temperatures will top out in the low to mid 90's with mostly cloudy skies and winds from the southeast. By Father's Day, increasing deep-layer tropical moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will begin to filter into the mid south which will increase our rain chances for Sunday, which could make it a soggy one!
