Widespread rain ended across the area today, but Thursday may be the only completely dry day we see across the ArkLaMiss this week.
Sunny skies will prevail across the region through the course of the day tomorrow as high pressure slides back through the central United States; however, it will also retreat eastward quickly allowing for a return flow of cloud cover through the day on Friday.
Two different storm systems will impact the region over the next week. The first is a slow-moving cold front that will provide rain chances through most of the weekend. The second system is a little quicker, likely to bring additional rain back through the region on Tuesday.
Temperatures will be a little warmer than normal over the next week. Highs will be back in the 60s frequently, morning lows are likely to remain in the 40s and 50s.
