Evening forecast for Wednesday, August 8

Rain chances continue across the region tomorrow as our slow-moving frontal system sets up for several days. Some locations could see up to 2″ of rain through Sunday.

Gulf moisture continues to pile on across the ArkLaMiss as temperatures will primarily remain controlled by cloud cover and rainfall through the rest of the week, While rain is possible daily, most of the activity will remain scattered. This will also lead to inconsistent rain totals.

Regardless, rain chances will become even more scarce later in the weekend. As skies clear early next week, temperatures will climb back into the mid 90s with triple digit heat indices by the middle of next week.
