Widely scattered showers developed across the ArkLaMiss today, most of it during the mid-afternoon and disappearing before early evening. Tomorrow should generally be a repeat weatherwise.
A large upper-level disturbance to our west is producing widespread rain across the Plains; however, as that system moves west Thursday, it likely won’t bring rain to our area. It will bring cooler, drier air that will continue through the weekend.
High temperatures will remain in the upper 80s to low 90s tomorrow and Thursday, before falling back into the low 80s for the weekend. Morning lows will likely stay in the low 70s, but will fall into the upper 50s to low 60s by the start of the weekend.
Overall, no significant rain chances appear in the forecast over the next week.
