Patchy fog could limit visibilities in many locations to start Wednesday, but showers will likely end the evening. More rain is possible through Thursday.
Another strengthening upper-level storm system is moving eastward out of west Texas this evening. While the system will be much stronger with deeper moisture once it moves to our east, some showers are expected tomorrow afternoon and evening. The best coverage of rain will likely be south of I-20 along the Mississippi Valley. Rain totals of up to 0.75″ will be possible there.
As the upper low moves overhead Thursday, some lighter showers will remain in the forecast. Patchy drizzle will also make for a dreary afternoon. Skies will clear for the weekend and on through Christmas, with highs expected in the mid 60s for Christmas Day.
