Strong to severe storms remain possible for much of the ArkLaMiss on Saturday. A strong upper-level storm system will sweep through the central United States tomorrow, bringing potentially damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes.
As newer data becomes available, it appears that the greatest risk for severe weather will stay to our northeast… where the best combination of severe weather ingredients will meet. However, a threat for isolated to scattered severe storms remains a very real possibility starting in the late morning and continuing through mid-afternoon. Residents are urged to remain vigilant through the day, and have multiple ways to receive severe weather alerts.
The system’s cold front will stall to our southeast, keeping small rain chances in the forecast through early next week. Another large storm system could bring more potential for severe storms by next Wednesday.
