Nearly a dozen teams from Northeast Louisiana competing in the High School Fishing World Finals and National Championships

This week, in South Carolina, 11 different teams representing various high schools in Northeast Louisiana are competing in the 12th Annual High School Fishing World Finals and National Championships at Lake Hartwell in Anderson, South Carolina.

The tournament itself has over 400 teams qualified. There are a total of 1,200 participants from 41 states and as far as Zimbabwe and South Africa, according to their official website.
