It’s the topic that never seems to go away, select/non-select split in high school athletics in Louisiana.
On Wednesday, 306 voters, with 56.5 percent of the tallies elected to keep the divide in high school football.
But now, schools will also be split in boys and girls basketball as well as baseball and softball.
And that opens the doors for rumors of a new league that would break away from the LHSAA.
