Haynesville Hopes to Return Home with Hardware After Date with Logansport

Coming back from a 14-0 hole to eliminate Oak Grove is one thing, but squaring off against another undefeated team is another.

That’s what Haynesville (14-0) will do on Friday, when they meet up with Logansport (14-0).

The Golden Tornado specialize in a ground and pound attack to get past their opponents.

The most eye popping stat from this season, are the five victories in which they’ve shut out the competition.

Tors coach David Franklin says, “…Logansport has a lot of good football players. They’re undefeated, we’re undefeated. Certainly this is the match of the two best teams in the state. They have a lot of good football players on both sides of the football. They’re playing really well right now.”

“…They play hard, they play fast. They do what they do, says Tigers head coach Kevin Magee. “They don’t try to smoke signal or screen anything. They are who they are. They’re very physical. They’ve got some guys who can run. And, they play 100 percent, 100 percent of the time.”
