Louisiana Tech has found their newest soccer star. And, they didn’t have to go far to find her.
On Wednesday morning, Morgan Bean signed to play for the Techsters.
She suffered a stress fracture in the team’s first preseason game. Bean returned to action on January 11.
The senior only played in five games. But, in 2018 she was second in the LHSAA Division II ranks with 32 goals scored and 18 assists.
With the previous setback, Bean was asked how she kept the motivation to keep playing.
“My love for soccer honestly, ” says Bean. Loved soccer since I was three. Played seriously since I was seven. Nothing was going to stop me from playing. I was planning on playing in college since I was barely walking. All of the injuries and me pushing through makes it more special.”
