Going in to training camp you’re assured to see familiar faces like Drew Brees, Cam Jordan and the likes.
The same applies for the coaching staff – but for LSU fans, there was another familiar face: Tigers’ defensive coordinator Dave Aranda.
The soft spoken coordinator deciding to spend his free time before Tigers camp soaking it up at the pro level.
After all, there are already rumbling that Aranda may give the NFL a shot in a year or two. Speculation aside, Aranda told the media he was there to visit colleagues such as linebackers coach Mike Nolan as the two have been friends for years.
Aranda was also seen chatting with former LSU Tiger Will Clapp – who is most recently a 7th round raft pick by the Saints. Whether for work or for play, Aranda gets back to work with his Tigers next week for camp.
