Shirmane Thomas only spent one year at Grambling, after transferring from Tennessee Tech.
But, during his time at GSU, he helped lead them to the regular season SWAC title in 2017-18.
He was second in scoring that season, behind Ivy Smith, Jr.
Now, he’s playing hoops overseas. But, recently he traveled to his hometown of Homer.
