UPDATE (KTVE/KARD) — According to the Monroe Police Department, the victim of the April 8, 2022, Dunn Drive shooting, Torance Davis, has died as a result to his injuries. The case remains under investigation.


UPDATE: On Saturday, April 9, 2022, Monroe Police Department confirmed that shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, officers were sent to the 700 block of Dunn Drive in reference to a male being shot. 

Officers reported that they found a male adult victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in serious condition. According to police, the events leading up to the shooting are still under investigation.

MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — On Friday, April 8, 2022, Monroe Police was dispatched to the 700 block of Dunn Drive in reference to a possible shooting. As of now, there’s reportedly numerous police units and ambulance with it’s emergency lights on at the scene.
