Phone service for the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office has been restored

UPDATE: Deputies have confirmed that the main number for the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office has been restored.

OUACHITA PARISH (KTVE/KARD) — The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office has been experiencing a phone outage with its main number, 318-3239-1200, since September 14, 2023. According to officials, crews are working to restore services as soon as possible.

Civilians may contact the sheriff’s office at 318-324-2500 or dial 911 for emergencies.
