The Bulldogs traveled to Austin, Texas to meet Dallas Baptist in the 2022 NCAA Division 1 baseball regionals looking to score their ticket for the 2022 NCAA College World Series.

For the 10th time in program history and the 3rd appearance since 2016. The last time these two teams faced off. Dallas Baptist came to J.C. Love Field in Ruston, Louisiana and pulled away with a 7-4 win over the diamond dogs. We caught up with a couple of La Tech fans and got their predictions on Friday’s game.

Scotty Garvan was at Walk On’s getting ready to enjoy a night of watching La Tech bulldogs with friends and shared with us about how much La Tech has their support. “Go bulldogs first off Taylor Young you know Northeast Louisiana is rooting for y’all and everything else,” says Garvan.

Another supporter who was at the watch party Rebecca Brady, a recent Louisiana Tech graduate was excited to see how much all of Louisiana Tech’s sports programs have had post season success. Now after graduating she’s still rooting for the bulldogs all the way saying, “It’s awesome for how far the sports have come over the years and its really sailed how sports has become much more especially like softball/baseball and it’s about time that they made it to regionals,” says Brady.
