West Monroe Recycling Center announces hours of operation

(8/30/18) The City of West Monroe has announced the start date for public drop off at the West Monroe Recycling Center.

The public may begin dropping off recyclable materials on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 7 a.m.

The West Monroe Recycling Center is located at 409 Lincoln Street, directly behind the West Monroe Police Department.

Regularly scheduled drop off dates will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The facility will also be open on select Saturdays.

Those dates will be announced as they are scheduled. Recyclable items that will be accepted include Plastic #1 (bottles) and Plastic #2 (milk jugs, laundry detergent bottles, etc.), paper, cardboard, aluminum and steel cans.
