WalMart shoplifter caught on camera stealing security cameras, electronics

West Monroe Police need your help identifying the suspect accused in a shoplifting theft at the West Monroe Walmart.

On 4/19/2017 at 7:10 p.m. a shoplifting/felony theft at Walmart was reported to the West Monroe Police Department. 

According to Walmart, an unknown male entered the business at 1:52 a.m. and went directly to the electronic section of the store.

The male then used an unknown device to remove Walmart’s electronic locking mechanism from the items he determined to steal.

The suspect next removed multiple GoPro Cameras, NEST Security Cameras, ROKUs, Chromecasts, Apple TVs, and internet routers/modems.

The suspect used clothing items from the business to conceal all the stolen items, and made several trips outside Walmart to an unknown vehicle parked nearby. 

The merchandise stolen by the suspect in this case is valued at approximately $9,000.00.
