Verizon stores burglarized

Broken glass covers the ground in front of the Farmerville Verizon store, after burglars break in and make off with thousands of dollars in smartphones. 

The wireless giant had to phone an insurance friend today after finding the damage left behind. 

Chief Robinson from the Rayville Police Department, says that these thieves apparently planned the burglary. 

“The suspects took a big, large rock and smashed through the front door glass and crawled in.”

This video shows two suspects with a bag, quickly searching the area before both run off. But, Robinson says the crooks didn’t stop and one store.

“I know for a fact that Rayville and Farmerville; all of them are connected. 

Officials say that they may have stolen plenty of smart phones – about $6,000 worth. But they weren’t smart about hiding their faces or finger prints.. 
    
Stores were hit in Rayville, Farmerville, West Monroe and Minden, but store officials would not comment.
