UPDATE: Second suspect arrested for attempted murder

UPDATE (7/31/18): The second suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that injured one on Keller Street has been arrested.

Dillon Shane Langley was arrested Monday night.

Langley has been booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on a count of attempted 2nd degree murder.

William Morgan Blake Cain was arrested Saturday morning. 




Investigators with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office tells NBC 10 they have located and arrested one of the two suspects wanted for an attempted murder on July 22nd on Keller Street in West Monroe.

Deputies say 23-year-old William Morgan Blake Cain was arrested Saturday morning.

(7/27/18) The investigation into the July 22nd shooting incident on Keller Street in West Monroe has led to the issuance of warrants for two suspects. 

Evidence developed during the investigation revealed the victim was acquainted with both suspects.

OPSO Investigators are currently searching for Dillon Shane Langley, age 24 and William Morgan Blake Cain, age 23, both of West Monroe. Each has been charged with one count of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder. Both are believed to possibly be armed.  Anyone with any information regarding the location of the suspects is asked to contact the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-329-1200.

The identity of the victim is not being released.  No further information is available at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
