(9/7/18) President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Jackson this month.

According to his website, he will host a ‘Make America Great Again’ rally on September 14th.

A statement from Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith’s campaign says he will be rallying support for her.

“We are thrilled that the President will be here to support the senator and her campaign,” said Melissa Scallan, communications director for the campaign. “Cindy Hyde-Smith has supported him 100 percent since she took office, and she looks forward to his visit to her home state next week.”

Trump endorsed Hyde-Smith’s run for re-election to the U.S. Senate in August.
