UPDATE: Escaped inmate surrenders in Ouachita Parish

UPDATE (11/19/18): An escaped inmate in Union Parish has surrendered and has been rebooked.

According to Crime Stoppers of Union Parish, Johnathan Grisham surrendered on Friday, November 16th in Ouachita Parish.

Grisham has been rebooked and is facing charges of simple escape along with his remainder time on firearm thefts.


(11/15/18) Johnathan Christopher Grisham, 28, of West Monroe, a Department of Corrections inmate walked away from his work release job at Foster Farms on Tuesday.

Grisham was reported missing around 2 p.m. Tuesday, according to a release from the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office.

He was serving time with the Louisiana Department of Corrections for firearm thefts.

Grisham is 5’2 tall and 120 pounds and has black hair and facial hair.  His last known address was on Washington Street in the Bawcomville area.
