Two arrested and charged in Union County for shooting death of one, injury of another

(6/6/19) UNION COUNTY, Ar. — A Union County man and juvenile have been arrested and charged with Capital Murder and Attempted Capital Murder.

According to police, 19-year-old Tristen Waller and an unidentified 17-year-old juvenile were arrested today for the shooting death of one man and the injury of another.

Police say the shooting happened Wednesday morning in the Urbana area of Union County. 27-year-old Brandon Parker and 22-year-old Randy Miller were both injured in the shooting and taken to the Medical Center of South Arkansas. Parker later died from his injuries while Miller was treated and released.

Investigators made contact with the two suspects after interviewing Miller and other witnesses. Both suspects were arrested and charged.

Police say the prosecutor intends to adjudicate the juvenile to be charged as an adult in this case.
