Two accused of half a dozen burglaries in Caldwell Parish, plus more

Deputies have tied two men to at least half a dozen burglaries in Caldwell Parish, plus more in Winn Parish and the Town of Olla.

On Monday, Caldwell Parish Deputies got a tip from Winn Parish that a vehicle involved in a possible burglary was heading towards Grayson, Louisiana.

Deputies found the vehicle at Village Grocery with 36-year-old Jimmy Denmon and 27-year-old Jerry Cockrell inside.

They say both men had marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and guns on them.

Denmon is charged with possession of marijuana, paraphernalia, stolen firearms and simple burglary.

Cockrell is also charged with possession of marijuana, paraphernalia, and stolen firearms.

Both men are in the Caldwell Parish Jail.

There is no word on their bonds.
