Three arrested in bar fight in downtown Shreveport

(12/19/18) Three people are facing charges in connection with a bar fight at a local night club.

The brawl happened shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Spring St. in downtown Shreveport.

Detectives learned that 35-year-old Jennifer Godwin and 33-year-old Kerri Dartez, both of Carthage,Texas, attacked a woman in the restroom of the bar. 

During the attack, an employee of the business attempted to break up the fight and was hit in the back by 23-year-old Joshua Byrd, of Shreveport.
 
Godwin, Parker, and Byrd were booked into the Shreveport City Jail and charged with one count of Simple Battery.
