This year’s St. Jude Dream Home set to open for viewings beginning this weekend

(4/11/19) This year’s St. Jude Dream Home is something very special.

As if being placed in the middle of Monroe’s new Egret Landing neighborhood wasn’t enough, the two story house is a masterpiece of modern design.

Open home tours start this weekend and there’s an extra incentive to attend for ticket buyers.

“If you’re here for the open house, Sleepy Hollow is giving a $10,000 gift card and that’s who provided all the furniture of the house was Sleepy Hollow. So if you enter to win that gift card and then you win $10,000, you can purchase some of the furniture in the house,” said Jan Strickland with Strickland Interior.

Sleepy Hollow president Jo Tiffany Faulk says that knowing families who’ve gone through St. Jude inspires her to get involved with the Dream Home.

She said, “As a mom of many I’ve never had to do that and I pray that we don’t, but it touches you on a very personal level when you see your friends struggle through that with their children. You know, you just want to do everything you can to help and this is what we can do to help.”

Every ticket bought helps but with over 70% already gone, you’ll want to get yours while you can.

The home will be open for people to check out over the next three weekends. Tours are from 9 to 5 on Saturdays and 12 to 5 on Sundays.
