UPDATE (1/25/17): The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office has made an arrested in the burglary and sexual assault case that occurred Tuesday.

Allen Mays, 32 of Ruston, was arrested Wednesday morning on 1 count Attempted First Degree Rape, 1 count Home Invasion, and 1 count Sexual Battery.

On Tuesday, January 24, 2017, Lincoln Parish deputies responded to the area of Frazier Road at North Village Trailer Park in reference to a burglary and sexual assault that was reported by the victim.

The suspect in this incident was described as a black male, large build, wearing dark pants and a blue pullover, hooded shirt.

The suspect later removed the hooded shirt and was wearing what appeared to be a grey sweatshirt.

It is believed that the suspect parked his vehicle at Cranford’s Northside while this crime was committed. The suspect vehicle approached Cranford’s from the north, traveling S/B on LA 33.

The suspect departed from the area traveling S/B on LA 33 in what appears to be a Pontiac car, light brown or grey in color. The rear tag of suspect’s vehicle was obscured by some means.
