They have cared for us throughout our lives, and now in the sunset of their lives, their care could be in jeopardy inside one Arkansas nursing home.

Longmeadow Nursing Care’s elderly population has fallen victim to a skin infection some claim was brought in by careless staff.

Kelly Holland said her husband, Randy, is her entire world.

“My one and only,” said Holland.

Her husband was staying up the road, at the Longmeadow Nursing Care in Camden in December, when Holland noticed bites all over his body.

“You could see where he had clawed them, trying to get to the itch,” said Holland.

She says her husband had scabies, a highly contagious skin condition caused by burrowing mites, but the nursing staff tried to convince her otherwise.
