(4/4/19) Suspended LSU basketball head coach Will Wade and the school are inching closer to ending its month-long standoff according to Sports Illustrated.
According to the report, the two sides are being brought together by Wade’s new attorney Steven Thompson. Thompson also represents Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl and Arizona head coach Sean Miller – both of whom are involved in the FBI investigation.
Wade refused to meet with LSU officials on March 8th which resulted in Wade’s current suspension. In his absence, the basketball team went on to win the SEC regular season championship and finish in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA tournament.
