Police: Several Verizon stores burglarized across Arklamiss

(8/30/2018) UPDATE: Police are saying several Verizon stores across the Arklamiss have been burglarized.

Farmerville Police are saying Verizon stores in Minden, Bastrop, and West Monroe.

It is unclear if the same suspects are responsible for all burglaries at this time.

According to the Farmerville Police Department’s Facebook page, they are investigating a robbery at a Verizon store where five cell phones worth $6,000 were taken.

Around 3:30 a.m. this morning, the Farmerville Police Department was told about a broken glass front door at the store at 722 Sterlington Highway. Police say the two people captured in this still from surveillance video below are the suspects in the case.

On Thursday, 08/30/2018, at approximately 03:30 AM Farmerville Police Department was notified of a broken glass front door at the Verizon Store located at 722 Sterlington Hwy, Farmerville, LA. Investigators concluded that suspects used a very large rock to make a forced entry. Upon entering the store suspects stole a total of 5 cell phones totaling an estimated value of $6,000.00. At this time some of the detailed information is being withheld, such as the number of suspects, possible surveillance video detailing the crime, and weather or not finger prints and/or foot prints were obtained, etc. As the investigation continues further information will be released.
