(8/13/18) Three local Sheriff’s offices need your help finding a man who they say led officers on a multi-parish car chase.

At approximately 2:00 pm this afternoon, Lincoln Parish deputies were called to help the Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office with a vehicle pursuit on US 167.

The suspects had committed an armed home invasion in Jackson Parish and then fled from officers, according to police.

Multiple law enforcement agencies joined the pursuit until the suspected driver lost control after hitting spike strips near Dubach.

According to police, the suspected driver forced his way into a nearby residence and obtained a ride to Bernice.

A passenger in the original vehicle was arrested after the crash.

Authorities are continuing their search in Union Parish for a black male wearing black pants, no shirt, and blonde shoulder length dreadlocks.

He is considered armed and dangerous. If you see anything suspicious, please contact your local law enforcement.

Below is the statement released by the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office.
