(4/8/19) After a month in court, a Ouachita Parish man arrested back in March has been indicted by a grand jury with 10 counts of rape and molestation of a juvenile, sexual battery, and first-degree rape.

This is according to a bill of indictment filed within the 4th Judicial District Court in Ouachita Parish on from April 4, 2019.

Steven Marcus Kelley, age 45, was first arrested back in March earlier this year.

He was accused of molesting a child multiple times over several years.

According to the bill of indictment, these allegations took place between May 2015 and December 2018.

These allegations are upheld in court documents that state a UPS delivery driver encountered two visibly upset pre-teen children at a home in Calhoun where a one of the victims, a female child, told the driver that she didn’t want to be raped by the suspect again.

The child allegedly told officers that the suspect, now identified as Steven Kelley, forced her to engage in sexual activities “at least two hundred times.”

According to the court records, the child was able to describe in detail the various things she says she was forced to do and that these things have been happening for several years.

Another victim accused Kelley of these claims as well.

Kelley’s new charges are:

3 counts of molestation of a juvenile

3 counts of first-degree rape

4 counts of sexual battery

Kelley’s previous charges include:

Crimes against nature

Indecent behavior with juveniles
