‘Operation Kidsafe’ held at Interstate Dodge

Local News
A missing child is any parents’ worst nightmare–but it happens all too often.

A nationwide organization is aiming to make the search for a missing child a bit easier.

It’s called ‘Operation Kidsafe’–a free safety even to provide parents with a “bio” document that can be passed along to law enforcement in the event of an emergency.

Children take photos and undergo fingerprinting, something that event organizers say could be life-changing.

“God forbid you are in a position, but we want to help speed up that process. That way, when you hand this over to law enforcement, the minute something does happen–just in case of that horrible event.”, explains Justin Graves, with Interstate Dodge in West Monroe.

Operation Kidsafe events are held around the country for free.
