Olivia Roberson joined us on Louisiana Living to share her “Easy Cheesy Lasagna” recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs. hamburger meat
1 1/2 jars of Prego’s tomato, onion, & garlic sauce
Parsley
Salt
Pepper
32 oz. Cottage Cheese
Parmesan shredded cheese
1/4 Parmesan grated cheese
6 dried lasagna noodles
2 eggs
Mozzarella cheese to top
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350
First Brown hamburger meat with parsley, pepper and salt
drain fat
Add 1 1/2 Prego sauce
simmer for about 5 minutes
Cheese mixture:
Take 32 ounces of cottage cheese and mix with
2 cups shredded cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan
2 cups shreded parmesan
2 eggs and mix
2 tbs parsley
Get a 9 X 13 pan and spray with cooking spray
get hamburger mixture and line bottom of pan
cover hamburger mixture with 3 dry lasagna noodles
add 1 half of cheese mixture
add second half of hamburger mixture
add 3 dry lasagna noodles
cover lasagna noodles with other 1/2 of cheese mixture
Put 1/2 cup water on top of dish to soften noodles
Put foil on top of dish and cook at 350 for 45 minutes
Remove foil and cook for another 10 minutes
Let sit for 10 minutes.
Then it’s ready to serve!
