MONROE La. – (4/12/19) United Way of Northeast Louisiana is gearing up to help its 12 parishes in preparation for this weekend’s severe weather.
Northeast Louisiana’s 211, as well as 211’s around the state are staffed and ready to help. During times of severe weather, 211 is a valuable tool to guide callers to the appropriate resources, whether it’s before, during, or after the storm.
United Way 211 is a free and confidential community helpline available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. 211 helps people access information they need to navigate the ever increasing and complex array of human services – the first step to finding help is knowing who to call.
