The Ouachita Parish Sheriffs Office have arrested one suspect, and are looking for another.
Two people are dead, one is hurt, and a driver is facing charges after a head-on crash.
Louisiana state police say it happened around 3-20 friday afternoon on l-a 17 in Richland Parish, just south of the West Carroll parish line. A pickup driven by 35-year old Stephone Smith crossed the center line and slammed into an suv. The driver of that suv, 21-year old Gabrielle Otwell, only had minor injuries. State police say two people who were not wearing seatbelts died at the Scene.They’ve been identified as 64-year-old Glenda Fields and 32-year-old Tracy Quinn. Both were In the pickup with Smith — who wasn’t injured.Smith has been cited for driving left of the center Line and driving on a suspended license. Police took toxicology samples to determine any possible further charges.
Deputies say 23-year-old William Morgan Blake Cain was arrested Saturday morning.He’s in jail with a 122-thousand dollar bond. Police are still looking for 24-year-old Dillon Shane Langley.
