A Natchitoches Parish man is behind bars for allegedly growing marijuana plants inside his home.

On March 21 agents with the Natchitoches Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force arrested 30-year-old Brandon Carter, of Gorum, in the 200 block of Mora Gorum Rd.

Agents received a complaint that Carter was growing suspected marijuana plants at the home.  They obtained a warrant and searched his home where they discovered a clandestine lab in a room where 10 suspected marijuana plants were being grown.

Agents also seized paraphernalia used to cultivate marijuana plants.

Brandon Carter was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center and charged with the following:

Carter’s bond has been set at $21,000.
