Man accused of flashing & groping a woman off I-20 in Calhoun

(7/5/2018) The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man after being accused of pulling a victim over, getting into her car and pulling out his privates.

Harold Walters, 49, was arrested on July 4, 2018.

According to the arrest report, deputies with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to I-20 at exit 103 in reference to a possible investigation to a sex crime.

Once deputies arrived, they made contact with the victim sho said Harold Walters Jr. motioned for her to pull over to the shoulder of the road, several times.

The victim stated she thought something was wrong with her vehicle, so she pulled over.

She said Walters got in the passenger side of her vehicle and told her he motioned her to pull over because she had pretty legs.

The victim said she freaked out and that’s when Walters put his hands on her leg pushing up her shorts, and asked to see her panties.

The victim refused, and said Walters then pulled out his privates and asked if she could help him out with “this”.

The victim screamed for Walters to exit her vehicle, and he did.

The victim said Walters apologized saying this was a big misunderstanding and left.

Deputies located Walters at his residence and advised him of his Miranda rights.

Walters admitted to pulling over on the shoulder of the road, but denied ever touching the victim or pulling out his privates.

Walters said the victim motioned for him to pull over, and he thought he was fixing to hook up with her.

Walters was placed under arrested and transported to the Ouachita Correctional Center.

He is being charged with Simple battery and obscenity.

His bond has not yet been set.
