Everyone in the community is gearing up for “MAD”.

Keep El Dorado Beautiful is asking the city to come together and clean-up streets.

The group took to social media pleading with the community to pick up their trash and keep their yards clean for visitors expected during opening week of MAD.

Members say this is not just a one-time thing, but they want everyone to do their part every day.

“We want to put our best foot forward and to show that we are a clean city, and what we’re working on is becoming a litter free city hopefully someday,” Valerie Smith, Vice President of Keep El Dorado Beautiful said.

Members of the group say you can be prosecuted if caught littering.
